Michelle Greene is an assistant professor of Pediatrics and Behavioral Sciences and a Licensed Clinical Psychologist at Rush University Medical Center.  She is a co-primary investigator (fellow co-primary investigator, Beverly Rossman, PhD) on an internally funded grant from the College of Nursing. This study uses quantitative and qualitative methodology to investigate relations between mother’s stress/anxiety and maternal role development, parenting, breastmilk and infant development.  Recently, Dr. Greene collaborated with Dr. Meier, Dr. Rossman and Amanda Kratovil, to author a book chapter about maternal support for breastmilk in the NICU.  Clinically, Dr. Greene and her colleagues in the Section of Pediatric Psychology complete developmental evaluations in Neonatology’s Infant Follow-Up Program.
